Like many of the luminaries featured in our Spiritual Masters Series, Russian-born Irina Tweedie Sufi Mystic was a pioneer. Tweedie left Europe in 1959 and has traveled to India where he met his spiritual master, sufi Hindu Radha Mohan Lal, from Naqshbandiyya Mujadiddiya-Sufi Order. She was the first Western woman to be trained in this ancient order and was instructed by his teacher to keep a diary of his experiences.This journal has become the spiritual classic, Daughter of Fire: A Diary of a spiritual training with a Sufi master.
